This is a template drafted for McLean's Travel Agency's J-1 Staffing Portal. It has not been reviewed by an attorney — have counsel review it (particularly the governing-law and liability sections) before treating it as final.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the J-1 Staffing Portal (the "Portal"), operated by McLean's Travel Agency for Students Limited ("McLean's," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

The Portal is for use by prospective and current J-1 Exchange Visitor Program participants. You must provide accurate information, including a genuine INTRAX ID, when applying to a position.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your login credentials confidential.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information (including a fabricated INTRAX ID) or otherwise misuses the Portal.

How applications work

You may hold one position at a time. Applying holds that position for you while your application is reviewed.
Submitting an application does not guarantee placement, host-employer acceptance, interview, or visa issuance.
An agency admin manually verifies your INTRAX ID before your application can advance to Confirmed or Interview status.
You may withdraw your own application at any time from My Applications, which releases the position and lets you apply elsewhere.

McLean's role vs. the sponsor's role

McLean's operates the Portal and facilitates introductions between students and host employers. McLean's is not itself the J-1 program sponsor; official sponsorship, DS-2019 issuance, and visa matters are handled by the applicable sponsor organization (INTRAX and/or its designated partners), outside this Portal.

Acceptable use

Don't impersonate another person, submit false program identifiers, or attempt to access another student's account or the admin dashboard without authorization.

No warranty

The Portal is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that job postings remain available, that any application will be successful, or that the Portal will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, McLean's is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Portal, including delays or denials in placement or visa processing by third parties (host employers, sponsor organizations).

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Portal after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
